Bienvenidos/Welcome (Spanish/English)
Tras un tiempo apartada de los medios de comunicación, durante el cual me he dedicado a completar mi formación y conocer otras culturas, vuelvo con más fuerza que nunca, ante la insistencia de la gente que me escribía e-mails y me llamaba para preguntarme qué pasaba con mi carrera, qué estaba haciendo que no sabían nada de mí, cuándo iba a volver a los medios de comunicación… Así que aquí estoy, lanzándome a esta nueva aventura de tener mi propia página web, en la que compaginaré mi trabajo de periodista con el de profesora. Durante medio año he trabajado en este proyecto, digitalizando muchos archivos que tenía guardados en el baúl de los recuerdos y que ahora quiero compartir con mucha gente: amigos, alumnos, artistas y fans, que sin duda disfrutarán de todo ello. En mi web tendrán cabida todos los aspectos de la cultura y la actualidad en general que considere importantes.
Quiero dedicar esta página web a todos los que siempre me habéis apoyado y, en especial, a mis estudiantes repartidos por todo el mundo (Mark, Viviane, Danuta, Stuart, Daniel, María Jesús, Eliza, …) y a todos aquellos que compartirán conmigo algún momento de sus vidas, así como a mis futuros estudiantes, que espero que aprendan mucho conmigo.
Me gustaría tener unas palabras de agradecimiento para algunas personas, aunque no pueden ser tantas como quisiera:

After a break from the media, during which time I have focused on my education and learning about other cultures, I return more dedicated than ever. This followed emails and inquiries from people asking when I would be returning to the media and how my career was progressing. For this reason, I have embarked on this new venture of setting up my own website, where I can combine my work as a journalist and a teacher. I have worked on this project for 6 months, digitizing archives that were hidden away, and now I want to share the following with everyone – friends, students, artists and fans – who I hope will get pleasure from them. On my website, I aim to comment on all aspects of culture and news that are of importance.
I want to dedicate this website to all the people that have always given me support, especially my students from around the world (Mark, Viviane, Danuta, Stuart, Daniel, María Jesús, Eliza, …) and all those that will share a moment of their lives with me, specifically future students, who I hope will learn a lot with me.
I would like to send some words of thanks to a few people, although there are many others that I would like to add.
To Ana Belén Roy, for her constant support. You know that you are more than a friend to me: you are a sister.
